  • tinyFinder will light up in the dark when it's out of the pre-set range or on demand.

  • If the object you're tracking with tinyFinder moves beyond the 100 feet/30M range or any lesser range you choose, both your smart device and tinyFinder will light and sound an alarm.

  • tinyFinder uses CR2016—a standard watch battery, which will last for a year if used for 3 hours a day (or continuously for 1,200 hours). Because of our energy-efficient technology, tinyFinder's battery life is 6 to 10 times longer than similar products' in the market*.

  • 1. How do I sync my tinyFinder when I first receive it?
    • Pull out the battery insulator from the tinyFinder.
    • Download the tinyFinder App.
    • Turn on Bluetooth connection on your smart device.
    • Turn on the tinyFinder App and click (+) on the top right corner to sync your tinyFinder. Make sure the tinyFinder you wish to be synced is next to your smart device. Wait for approximately 30 to 60 seconds. The App will let you know when the new tinyFinder is detected. Rename your tinyFinder if needed.
  • 2. What technology does tinyFinder use?
    A: Bluetooth 4.0.
  • 3. What types of device support the tinyFinder App?
    A: tinyFinder App can run on iOS devices that support Bluetooth 4.0 (iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, New iPad, iPad mini, iPod nano, iPod touch, etc.). Requires iOS 6.1.3 or later. Due to variance in Android models, we are receiving different feedbacks from customers regarding software stability. After careful testing, the Android devices that are confirmed stable are: Nexus 4 and 7 with version 4.4 or later, and HTC Butterfly S and New HTC One with version 4.3 or later (the list will be updated once available)
  • 4. How many tinyFinders can be detected?
    A:For iOS devices, more than 8 tinyFinders can be detected at once. For stable Android devices, 2-3 tinyFinders can be detected.
  • 5. What is tinyFinder’s range?
    A: The range is approximately 100 feet or 30 meters.
  • 6. What kind of battery does tinyFinder use?
    A: tinyFinder uses CR2016—a standard watch battery. The battery will last for a year with 3 hrs/day use.
  • 7. How do I replace the battery?
    A: Just open the top cover, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. One side of the battery is marked with +, the positive side. Carefully place the battery into the device with the same side down as the old battery.
  • 8.Does tinyFinder come with a loop and a sticker?
    A: tinyFinder comes with both a loop and a sticker.
  • 9. How does the App locate tinyFinder?
    A: The App uses Bluetooth connection from a smart device, which can detect signals from tinyFinder’s built-in chips.
  • 10. If I buy multiple tinyFinders and place them onto various objects, how do I know which one is which?
    A: Each tinyFinder comes with a code number that makes it unique, and you can name each tinyFinder on your App in a hassle-free manner.
  • 11. Why should I purchase tinyFinder?
    A: We often invest in a screen protector or cell phone case, for example. But you can lose your important personal items in the blink of an eye. tinyFinder is an affordable solution to make sure you’ll never have to worry about losing your valuable personal items again.
  • 12. What is your return/exchange policy?

    A: Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of product receipt by submitting a Request Form. We must receive the product, in the original condition and packaging, with a full description of why the merchandise was returned, within 15 business days of your request to return. Upon submitting a request, we will provide you with an RMA number. We will not accept packages without a RMA number, and the RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the box.

    For returns: You are responsible for return shipping costs. We will refund your merchandise purchase price, less shipping and a 15% handling fee, within 30 business days of product receipt back to the original PayPal account. If the returned product is brand new, unopened and undamaged, we will not charge the 15% handling fee.

    Nonreturnable conditions: Items that are abused; items that are missing accessories; items that are not in original packaging.

    For exchanges: Exchanges are only allowed for product defects or malfunctioning products. We will pay for your exchange shipping costs and we will ship out an identical replacement within 7 business days of product receipt.

  • 13. Where is tinyFinder made?
    A: tinyFinder’s hardware, firmware and software are all made in Taiwan.
